DESCRIPTION:Sedna: Fairy Tales and Myths for Challenging Times \n🐳 In this interactive workshop\, we dive deep into the Inuit creation myth of Sedna\, to see what is waiting to be revealed in the depths of the ocean. \n🧜‍♀️ Sedna\, the goddess of the sea and marine animals in Inuit mythology\, is known as the «Mother of the Sea» and it said to control the supply of sea animals\, which are essential for the survival of the Inuit people. We will explore the story using tools from the Story Arte creative toolbox like Gestalt therapy\, expressive arts therapies and psychodrama. \n🌊 As we swim alongside Sedna in her watery world\, we will discover how this myth of creation resonates with us in these uncertain times and connects us to the future of the oceans of the world. \n🌙 We will also take into consideration the planetary configuration of the dwarf planet Sedna and do a new Moon ritual to seed our dreams for 2026. \n🔥 Stories have been with us since the very beginning of humanity when we gathered around the fire to listen to myths of creation to connect us with our inner selves\, our clan and the universe. \n📅 Friday November 21st\, 2025\n⏰ 14:00 to 16:00 (CET) / 13:00 to 15:00 (UK time)\n🏠 Online\n🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 This workshop is experiential\, and participants will be invited to explore the story in depth and engage actively in the creative activities. DESCRIPTION:📍 Jardin Botánico Atlántico de Gijón\, Avenida del Jardín Botánico\, 2230\, Periurbano Rural\, 33203 Gijón\, Asturias\n📅 Sábado 7 de Febrero de 2026\n⏰ 11:00 a 14:00 h.\n🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Taller dirigido a personas adultas con discapacidad \nℹ️ Un punto de encuentro entre el arte\, la naturaleza y la magia de los cuentos: Bajo la sombra de un tejo escucharemos el relato “Por qué los árboles dejaron de hablar con los seres humanos”. Descubriremos que\, hace mucho tiempo\, los árboles conversaban con las personas\, hasta que un hombre pidió algo prohibido con su palo mágico y ellos decidieron guardar silencio para siempre.\nEl taller propone una experiencia colectiva que invita a transformar el final de este cuento a través del arte. Crearemos palos mágicos con ramas y lanas de colores\, cargados de intenciones positivas para el bienestar de los árboles. Luego ofreceremos nuestras obras al tejo\, para que pueda percibir nuestro deseo de armonía y cuidado hacia él y hacia toda la comunidad arbórea.
