DESCRIPTION:Cuentan que cada vez que un niño o una niña dice: “No creo en las hadas”\, hay un hada que cae muerta en algún lugar. \n🧚🏽‍♀️ Las hadas y otros seres mágicos necesitan la ayuda de los pequeños seres humanos con un corazón puro. \n✨ Los seres mágicos te esperan en el Centro Cívico de Posada de Llanes\, Asturias\, para contar sus historias. \n🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Algunos de los seres son de Escocia\, la tierra nativa de Jennifer\, y otros son de Asturias\, su tierra adoptiva. Asturias tiene raíces celtas y comparte cosas en común con otros países del mismo ámbito geográfico como Escocia: las gaitas\, el paisaje verde\, las montañas\, el salmón en los ríos\, el mar\, un folklore rico y los seres mitológicos de su acervo etnocultural. Jennifer ha sentido la necesidad de unir las voces de los seres mágicos de Escocia\, con las voces de los seres mágicos de Asturias\, y dar a conocer sus historias. Así\, nos contará historias sobre las xanas de Asturias y sobre las hadas escocesas. Veremos que sucede del encuentro entre el trasgu y los brownies escoceses. El busgosu\, señor de los bosques de Asturias\, hablará sobre la importancia de cuidar nuestros bosques porque si nosotros cuidamos de ellos\, ellos cuidarán de nosotros. DESCRIPTION:In this course we are going to explore the theme of death through stories\, art therapy and rituals. \nIt is for anyone who feels the call to be able to talk about death in a natural way. It would be of special interest to storytellers\, counselors\, therapists and other people in the caring profession\, in education or in any other related walk of life. \nThroughout the course I will be sharing pearls of wisdom from my 18 years of telling stories professionally and working with art therapy and psychodrama in a variety of situations. \nThe course is planned to take place over a 7-week period. Once a week there will be a virtual ‘live’ session via Zoom which will be recorded and uploaded onto the platform and it will be available for viewing for one month. DESCRIPTION:What is it like to grow old in our modern world? What does growing old mean to you? Are old people in our society considered elders or elderly or perhaps considered a burden on society? In this interactive workshop we explore this theme accompanied by ancient wisdom embedded in fairy tales. \nIn most of the fairy tales that have survived to the present day\, we discover that the protagonists are young\, and that the main themes are focused around leaving home and finding one’s way in the world. Many of these stories finish with and ‘they lived happily ever after’. But what happens “In the Ever After” and how does this relate to the reality of aging in our contemporary society?\nWe will explore this through fairy tales from around the world where elders are protagonists. Most of the stories will be from Allan B. Chinen’s book “In the Ever After”. Each one reveals a deep folk wisdom about the psychological tasks encountered in the second half of life and offer an engaging exploration into adult development and aging and the problems and challenges of growing old in contemporary society. \nOnline Events (via Zoom in English) \nPublic: Practitioners\, storytellers\, anyone interested in exploring the world of stories on a deeper level.
